Dr. Karmetria Dunham Burton is a corporate executive for a fortune 100 company. In this position she is responsible for developing and executing a global Supplier Diversity program while enhancing the processes to the company achieve its vision of being an industry leader of making minority and women owned businesses (MWBEs) a natural and integral part of the way the company does business. Karmetria has worked in strategic sourcing in various national and international corporate settings including Xerox and AT&T and Union Pacific Railroad. Before Delta, Karmetria was supplier diversity manager for IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group).

Terrez Thompson

VP, Global Supplier Diversity and Inclusion at The Coca-Cola Company

Terrez Marriott Thompson is Vice President of Global Supplier Diversity for The Coca-Cola Company, leading the organization’s efforts to maximize procurement opportunities with diverse businesses as suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors of competitively-priced goods and services. As an associate of The Coca-Cola Company for more than 25 years, Thompson has held numerous roles of increasing importance and assumed her current leadership position in April, 2012. Thompson served as the lead on the company’s $1 billion Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Program for minority and women-owned business and led the Company’s involvement in The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce 2002 annual campaign

Madison Gunter, III MBA

Director Supplier Diversity/Supplier Sustainability Programs at Salesforce

Madison Gunter III has 20 plus years of experience leading global teams in the areas of supplier diversity, workforce diversity, offsets & countertrade, technical marketing engineering and channel business development. This year Madison was asked to lead Salesforce’s Supplier Diversity and Supplier Sustainability programs after spending a year consulting. Madison was also a small business owner, Gunter Group Inc., which has had a huge amount of success working with small and medium size businesses. Madison received his Masters of Business Administration from University of Santa Clara (Leavey School of Business), a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Chico, and is certified as a Telecommunications Engineer from University California, Berkeley.

Alexis Batemen

Director, MIT Sustainable Supply Chains at MIT

Alexis Bateman is a Research Scientist and Director of MIT Sustainable Supply chains. She also serves as a course lead and instructor for the MITx MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management, a pioneering program in digital education reaching 100,000s of supply chain professionals around the world. She has over fifteen years of experience in sustainability in the public sector, industry, and academic settings. Her work focuses on supply chain sustainability through research, education, and outreach. She has engaged closely with industrial partners, public agencies, global governance organizations, and non-governmental organizations.

Ben Winter

Head of Growth and Marketing at Fairmarkit

Ben Winter is the Head of Growth and Marketing at Fairmarkit, the intelligent sourcing platform. He’s spent the last 2 years working with partners throughout the procurement and supply-chain industry to build a community of partners that collaborate with Fairmarkit. Prior to joining Fairmarkit, Ben led the growth team at Appcues and ran a digital agency for 5 years focused on website design and development.
